Dr. McCracken, also known as “Dr. Allie,” attended the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine, where she received numerous awards. She was awarded the Academy of General Dentistry senior award for interest, knowledge, and proficiency in general dentistry. She was also awarded the American Academy of Oral Medicine merit award for outstanding achievements in oral medicine. Dr. McCracken was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national honor dental fraternity, as she was one of 12% of her graduating class who ranked highest in scholastic, technical, clinical, and professional achievements during the four year dental course. She graduated summa cum laude from dental school in 2003. Dr. McCracken joined Creekside Dental group in 2003, following graduation and purchased the practice from Dr. Homyack in December 2012.
Prior to dental school, Dr. McCracken attended the University of Pittsburgh and received a Bachelor’s of Science. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and was inducted into the national honor fraternity, Phi Beta Kappa.
Dr. McCracken is a graduate of Ephrata High School, where she was involved in field hockey, basketball, track and field, and the national honor society. She was a district medalist in track and field and placed ninth in the state in triple jump her senior year.
Dr. McCracken is a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Lancaster County Dental Society. She regularly attends continuing education courses to increase her knowledge and proficiency in dentistry. Dr. McCracken is level II certified in Invisalign orthodontics.
Dr. McCracken and her husband, Jeremy married in June 2003. They have three children. Dr. McCracken enjoys spending time with her family, jogging, reading, and attending Calvary Church.
